Something I personally find a bit odd ...

I have reviewed passenger lists for 9/11 hijacked flights, lists of Confirmed Dead - including crew members ...

Hijackers names do not appear in those lists.

On the one hand, I understand sensitivity to the honor and memory of innocent citizens - passengers who lost their lives at the hands of terrorists ...

... yet the terrorists themselves are (were) also human beings, lost their lives that day - not to mention they paid the airlines for the service of transporting them.

Something a new friend said resonates here:

Hopkins was fired for independently going through FAA records and reporting to the FBI that Adnan Bukhari had trained at the FAA's academy in Oklahoma City twice, in 1991 and 1998. Between 5:00 and 5:30 on the morning of September 12th, FBI agents backed by a SWAT team stormed Adnan Bukhari's leased house and arrested him, because his identity card and that of an Ameer Bukhari (mistakenly thought to be Adnan's brother) were found in a rental car left in Portland, Maine - a blue Nissan that Mohammed Atta had rented and left in an airport parking lot.

Adnan Bukhari gave lessons to Saudi Arabian Airlines pilots at the FlightSafety Academy in Vero Beach, Florida. As of 2001, Adnan held flight engineer, turbo-jet, mechanic, airframe, powerplant, instrument panel and single-engine landing certificates, as well as a First Class Medical Certificate issued in May of 2000. FBI cleared Adnan of any connection to September 11 attacks.

Ameer Bukhari had died exactly a year before the attacks, on September 11th, 2000, in a midair collision between his Piper Cherokee N9208N and the Piper Aztec N54235 being piloted by Roger Boromei, as both approached the same runway at Saint Lucie International Airport in Fort Pierce, Florida. Both aircraft ended up crashing in a nearby citrus grove. At the time of the crash, Ameer had logged 17.5 hours flight-time since graduating from the FlightSafety Academy in Vero Beach, Florida - where several of the actual hijackers were also reported to have trained. Ameer was cleared of any fault in the post-incident report, which blamed the air controller who had started his shift three minutes earlier.

Theologian scoffed at 9/11 conspiracy theories, then looked closer

When David Ray Griffin, noted theologian and professor emeritus at the Claremont School of Theology, first heard someone say that Sept. 11 was an inside job, he scoffed.

"I can remember my exact words. ... I said, 'I don't think that even the Bush administration could perpetrate such a thing,' " said Griffin, who has since written two books, "The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11" and "The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions,'' which dispute the official version of events. Specifically, Griffin believes that the U.S. government orchestrated the attacks.

Griffin began to delve into 9/11 conspiracy theories after looking at a time line of the events of Sept. 11, 2001 (by Paul Thompson, who later turned it into a book) on the Internet. He found himself swayed by the catalog of inconsistencies and strange coincidences.

When asked what the most compelling facts are to make the case that the U.S. government was complicit in the attacks, Griffin names three things. The behavior of Bush at the schoolhouse in Florida ("Secret Service should have whisked him out immediately if we're under attack but he stayed over 30 minutes. ... It's pretty clear evidence that they knew they wouldn't be attacked"), the strange pyrotechnics that brought down the World Trade Center ("fire has never brought down a steel high-rise building") and the poorly planned targeting of the West Wing of the Pentagon ("all the important people are in the East Wing -- it doesn't make any sense").

Not only that, Griffin points to historical evidence that the U.S. government would be capable of such a thing. Operation Northwoods, a plan concocted by the Pentagon in the '60s as a way of taking Castro from power, included ideas about how a terrorist attack on U.S. soil could provide a pretext for military action.

But why now? Griffin names the neoconservative think tank the Project for the New American Century as a motivating force. "Once you look at it, they have lots of motivation," he says. "It's what the neocons have been salivating about."

"The goals would be to get control of the world's oil and establish a new doctrine of pre-emptive warfare. That was a difficult sell before 9/11."

While many conspiracy theories have been passed around, it's been very easy to dismiss many of the theorists as, well, crazy. But Griffin comes to his controversial conclusions with lucidity and calm. He even sees a connection between his long-standing work as a theologian and his new position as a political writer.

"In both cases, the concern is for the good of the world as a whole. Those of us who believe in God believe that trashing the world is not what God wants."

The powers that be work overtime maintaining the Big Lie with some fairly simple, but effective techniques: outright fraud and coverup, and initimidation and persecution of scientists and other professionals who dare to speak the truth. One of the best examples of the use of these techniques can be found at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C.

In 1990, Dr. William Marcus, senior toxicologist in the Office of Drinking Water at EPA, was fired for publicly questioning the honesty of a long-awaited government animal study designed to determine if fluoride causes cancer. Upon examining the raw data of the experiment, Dr. Marcus found clear evidence that fluoride causes cancer, and suggested that a review panel set up by the government to review the data had deliberately downgraded the results. He was vindicated in December of 1992 when Administrative Law Judge David A. Clark, Jr. ordered EPA to give him back his job, with back pay, legal expenses and $50,000 in damages. EPA appealed, but the appeal was turned down in 1994 by Secretary of Labor, Robert B. Reich who accused EPA of firing Dr. Marcus in retaliation for speaking his mind in public. Reich found among other things that EPA had shredded important evidence that would have supported Dr. Marcus in court. The original trial proceedings also show that EPA employees who wanted to testify on behalf of Dr. Marcus were threatened by their own management. EPA officials also forged some of his time cards, and then accused him of misusing his official time.

Other EPA scientists, have attempted to get the truth in the open without success. In November of 1991, Dr. Bob Carton, Vice-President of the union representing all 1200 scientists, engineers, and lawyers at EPA headquarters, presented the Drinking Water Subcommittee of the Science Advisory Board of EPA with evidence of scientific fraud in the preparation of EPA's fluoride in drinking water standard. (reference) No follow up to verify these accusations was ever made.

Six years earlier, Dr. Carton became aware of a coverup, when the person responsible for writing the justification for the fluoride in drinking water regulation confided in him that he didn't believe a thing he was writing. In other words, the regulation was a lie. Then the regulation writer said: "well, that's the way they want it." In other words, he had to follow orders. Rather than lose his job, or his next promotion, he produced what his superiors wanted.

Dr. Carton convinced the professional union to take fluoride on as an ethics issue. The union attempted to join the National Resources Defense Council in a lawsuit against EPA in September of 1986 with a submission of a detailed brief to the U.S. District Court in Washington, DC. The court refused to allow the union to join the suit.

Increasingly, whether the subject is September 11 or Oklahoma city, a common phrase appears:
"U.S. government agencies themselves orchestrated the bombing"
... as one writer put it.

"Conspiracy theories" is the label most often put on such talk - yet why would we not think it possible that our government might have contrived a "new Pearl Harbor" to facilitate invading yet another sovereign nation (Iraq), or for purposes yet unknown to us ?

Disgusting, and even painful, as it is for us as Americans to consider such possibilities, those who dig deep into details surrounding two of the darkest American days in recent history are coming to chilling conclusions.

Frankly, I am not sure any one of us who is learning what has actually happened in the United States during the last 20 years can convince an average American that anything is other that it should be. Too many folks are in blinders, doing their best to make it through work days to keep the homefire burning; too many in denial regardless.

The more I learn, the more I am determined to learn about the whole stinking mess ... but for you and other readers and thinkers, I realize that most likely the only way you will really come to see how deep the deception has gone is to start reading for yourself, everything you can find regarding the Oklahoma City Bombing and the attack on the WTC.

When I see details in (or omitted from) "official investigation" reports, compared with the wealth of data provided by eyewitnesses to the same events, I begin to wonder at the state of my own mind. I think anyone does. Millions of taxpayer dollars are spent on official investigations, which produce an inbred package of partial and distorted truth, designed to fit an agenda few even in government are sure of.

Could it be no more than intellectual exercise employing such techniques as Counterfactual Thinking which drives such blatant usurpation of oath of office? If some people are dispositionally more likely to wonder about what might have been, then perhaps some are more likely to not only wonder about what will be, but obsess toward making a future they see as "best" so that current reality (such as oath of office) becomes wholly insignificant to them. "Rewriting the future" as easy as rewriting the past ... ?

Conspiracy theories do not thrive in the open. When 911 Commission members consciously excluded from their final report facts they were urged by so many to include, facts which some members knew personally to be true for having been themselves privy to the those facts even prior to the very events they were given to investigate, then the public was left to ask why the "facts" do not fit.

The public began to theorize, use their own expertise to solve the crime, form individual opinion based on personal training. The public began arguing among themselves the merits of many "theories" - distracted, as they are intended to be - part of that distraction being called to task for questioning the official version ... because all the while, the next event which is designed to keep the public off balance is being prepared. Anyone who would sound an alarm is ignored.

What all Americans need to get clear on asap is that TWA Flight 800 exploded primarily because of one man. His name is Abdul Basit Mahmoud Abdul Karim aka Ramzi Ahmed Yousef

We now know how Yousef caused the crash of Flight 800, we know that he was in prison as the time of the crash, and we know that the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation facilitated Yousef's communication to or through a contact in Iran, which ultimately led to the downing of 800, using the very same device which Ramzi Yousef tested on a Phillipine Airlines 747-100 with 293 passengers and crew on December 11, 1994.

The "wet test" of Yousef's nine-volt battery powered device killed Haruki Ikegami, a twenty-four-year-old Japanese engineer seated in 26K on the PAL flight from Cebu City, Phillipines, causing the plane to make an emergency landing at Naha Airport in Okinawa.

Yousef's "test" had been intended to explode the 747's center fuel tank with his personally designed "signature" (as described by federal bomb experts) device, consisting of a Casio watch timer with C106D resistor soldered inside, connected to two nine-volt batteries, a broken bulb to cause a spark inside a high-explosive (gun cotton). The gun cotton was made by Yousef, who put cotton balls in a solution of diluted nitroglycerine, inside a mouthwash bottle. The entire device was assembled in flight, concealed in a shaving kit, and left under seat 26K before Yousef disembarked the PAL flight at Cebu City.

The PAL test failed because seat 26K was behind the center fuel tank. Whoever planted the device on Flight 800 knew to place it farther forward. Yousef's "wet test" was made in anticipation of bringing down a dozen different airliners in what is known as the Bojinka Plot.

Yousef gave the precise component assembly of his "signature" device to an FBI informant while in prison in the spring of 1996. The informant reproduced the instructions in a drawing which was delivered to FBI and documented in a 302 memo - the same sort of memo which also documented Yousef's orders to his contacts to commence bringing down a U.S. flag airliner to influence the outcome of his WTC trial which was then under way.

A trail of documented facts - some of which were said to be corroborated by a follow-up investigation, according to Patrick Fitzgerald in his sealed affidavit submitted June 25, 1998. Mr. Fitzgerald, now actively questioning "Scooter" Libby, who is accused of leaking classified material, in 1998 was head of the Organized Crime and Terrorism Unit of the Southern District of New York.

"Legal experts say that President Bush had the unquestionable authority to approve the disclosure of secret CIA information to reporters, but they add that the leak was highly unusual and amounted to using sensitive intelligence data for political gain.

"It is a question of whether the classified National Intelligence Estimate was used for domestic political purposes," said Jeffrey H. Smith, a Washington lawyer who formerly served as general counsel for the CIA.

In court papers filed Wednesday, Special Counsel Patrick J. Fitzgerald said I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Cheney's former chief of staff, has testified that Cheney told him that Bush had authorized the leak of secret information from the National Intelligence Estimate on Iraq in the summer of 2003. Fitzgerald's court filing portrays the leak as part of an effort to discredit former ambassador Joseph C. Wilson IV, who contended in a newspaper column that intelligence about Iraq's nuclear weapons program was distorted in the run-up to the U.S. invasion.

The court filing says that Libby, who is fighting perjury and obstruction-of-justice charges in connection with the leak investigation, was concerned about the legality of sharing classified information with reporters. But he was assured by David S. Addington, who then served as counsel to Cheney, that presidential authorization to disclose the information amounted to declassification.

Experts said the power to classify and declassify documents in the federal government flows from the president and is often delegated down the chain of command. In March 2003, Bush signed an executive order delegating declassification authority to Cheney.

Libby understood that only he, Bush and Cheney knew of the declassification when Libby held his first conversation with a reporter in July 2003, the court papers show.

In one telling footnote in the filing, Fitzgerald notes that even after Bush authorized the dissemination of the intelligence data, then-White House deputy national security adviser Stephen J. Hadley was "active in discussions about the need to declassify and disseminate" the information.

"There is an institutional interest and ultimately a public interest in having these decisions documented," said Ronald D. Lee, a Washington lawyer and former general counsel to the super-secret National Security Agency. "You can't have a government where everything is sort of done in people's heads."

His Ph.D. is in Aeronautics and Nuclear Engineering from Caltech. He chaired 8 major international conferences, and is one of the country’s foremost experts on National Security.

Bowman worked secretly for the US government on the Star Wars project and was the first to coin the very term in a 1977 secret memo. After Bowman realized that the program was only ever intended to be used as an aggressive and not defensive tool, as part of a plan to initiate a nuclear war with the Soviets, he left the program and campaigned against it.

In an interview with The Alex Jones Show aired nationally on the GCN Radio Network, Bowman (pictured below) stated that at the bare minimum if Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda were involved in 9/11 then the government stood down and allowed the attacks to happen. He said it is plausible that the entire chain of military command were unaware of what was taking place and were used as tools by the people pulling the strings behind the attack.

Bowman outlined how the drills on the morning of 9/11 that simulated planes crashing into buildings on the east coast were used as a cover to dupe unwitting air defense personnel into not responding quickly enough to stop the attack.

"The exercises that went on that morning simulating the exact kind of thing that was happening so confused the people in the FAA and NORAD....that they didn't they didn't know what was real and what was part of the exercise," said Bowman

"I think the people who planned and carried out those exercises, they're the ones that should be the object of investigation."

Asked if he could name a prime suspect who was the likely architect behind the attacks, Bowman stated, "If I had to narrow it down to one person....I think my prime suspect would be Dick Cheney."

Bowman said that privately his military fighter pilot peers and colleagues did not disagree with his sentiments about the real story behind 9/11.

Bowman agreed that the US was in danger of slipping into a dictatorship and stated, "I think there's been nothing closer to fascism than what we've seen lately from this government."

Bowman slammed the Patriot Act as having, "Done more to destroy the rights of Americans than all of our enemies combined."

Bowman trashed the 9/11 Commission as a politically motivated cover-up with abounding conflicts of interest, charging, "The 9/11 Commission omitted anything that might be the least bit suspicious or embarrassing or in any way detract from the official conspiracy so it was a total whitewash."

"There needs to be a true investigation, not the kind of sham investigations we have had with the 9/11 omission and all the rest of that junk," said Bowman.

Asked if the perpetrators of 9/11 were preparing to stage another false-flag attack to reinvigorate their agenda Bowman agreed that, "I can see that and I hope they can't pull it off, I hope they are prevented from pulling it off but I know darn good and well they'd like to have another one."

A mainstay of the attack pieces against Charlie Sheen have been that he is not credible enough to speak on the topic of 9/11. These charges are ridiculed by the fact that Sheen is an expert on 9/11 who spends hours a day meticulously researching the topic, something that the attack dogs have failed to do, aiming their comments solely at Sheen's personal life and ignoring his invitation to challenge him on the facts.

In addition, from the very start we have put forth eminently credible individuals only for them to be ignored by the establishment media. Physics Professors, former White House advisors and CIA analysts, the father of Reaganomics, German Defense Ministers and Bush's former Secretary of the Treasury, have all gone public on 9/11 but have been uniformly ignored by the majority of the establishment press.

Will Robert Bowman also be blackballed as the mainstream continue to misrepresent the 9/11 truth movement as an occupation of the fringe minority?

(U) It is my judgment that the ABLE DANGER effort should have been then, and should be today, governed by U.S. Title 10 – for reasons which the Department of Defense have declared to be secret and I cannot discuss in open session.

(U) When I made this judgment known to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) they took issue – they felt that ABLE DANGER should have been a Title 50 intelligence operation all along – and in by closed door session with them, they took strong issue with me. Gentlemen, knowing what I know about the bureaucracy of both DoD and CIA, ABLE DANGER type operations must be responsive and focused – and none political – therefore should reside under the control of the Pentagon. 3000 people were lost to the country mostly, in my assessment, due to bureaucratic game playing by both DIA and CIA officials – and I will further illustrate my point below.

(U) While there are necessary legal separations regarding Title 10 (DoD) and Title 18 (Department of Justice) organizations, the primary breakdown occurred due to artificial and what I believe were purposeful misinterpretations of Title 50 (intelligence) restrictions – misinterpretations that continue today – and have become DoD’s excuse for the destruction of the data in 2000. There have been subsequent document and data destruction of the ABLE DANGER data and background documents that I and others did retain and preserve until at least 2004. The fact that there was then, and has been within the recent past ABLE DANGER information destruction is not at issue; DoD and DIA leadership have admitted this – what is at issue is why they as senior leadership displayed questionable judgment regarding this data.

(U) At the heart of the failure of ABLE DANGER is information sharing – and this is the real reason I am before you today – to help identify, with the hope of fixing, problems and shortcomings of the pre 9-11 US Government – shortcomings that my former ABLE DANGER colleagues and I judge, based on our experience over the past five years, to even now continue to hamper our ability to conduct effective military, intelligence and law enforcement operations in the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT).

(U) My veteran ABLE DANGER colleagues and I share the common fear that the seeds of the next 9-11 attack have already been sewn – and that much of the critical data that was harvested for the ABLE DANGER project, that could be used again now in the search for sleeper cells and others that matched the “Atta” profile is now gone – destroyed at the direction of DoD officials in the 2000 timeframe. You have heard from Eric Kleinsmith of his work on ABLE DANGER, and his receiving direction to “destroy the data and background documents or go to jail” – which he did. However, it must be noted that despite citing AR 380-10 as the “authority” for this action, the DoD lawyer is wrong and, worse, deceptive. There are two exceptions that allow the retention of U.S. person information – both of those were met by then MAJ Kleinsmith – yet lawyers directed that he destroy the data anyway. Those exceptions are:

2. Publicly available information. Information may be collected about a United States person if it is publicly available.

3( c ) Persons or organizations reasonably believed to be engaged or about to engage, in international terrorist or international narcotics

(U) Therefore, there was no “legal” reason for the directive that the ABLE DANGER information and charts be destroyed then. So then, what was the real reason? What is the real justification for these documents – this critical data – to have been destroyed? Embarrassment and political CYA to protect themselves from accountability for their bad, and in this case, fatal decisions, made in 2001 regarding ABLE DANGER.

(U) Further, I will provide details as to the troubling “coincidences” that relate to the suspension/revocation of my security clearance, and confiscation of my ABLE DANGER documents that occurred just after I spoke to the 9-11 staff director, Dr Phillip Zelikow, in October of 2003.

(U) If we are to win this war on terrorism, and hope to preclude the next 9-11 type attack – an attack that many experts fear will be one that utilizes a weapon of mass destruction such as chemical, biological or nuclear – it is my judgment that we must examine and make sure that the bureaucratic and policy problems that hobbled ABLE DANGER effort have been fixed.

(U) From my experience, to date, the problems have not been fixed as the officers and culture that existed before 9-11, and permitted the ABLE DANGER project to fail, are still in place today.

(U) There is no incentive for the bureaucrats to change – and instead of embracing change, and being accountable to their actions, they obfuscate and inveigle and hide their own failures. In my specific instance, DIA has been allowed by DoD to make an “example” of me to try and intimidate the others from coming forward by spending what we now estimate $2 million in an effort to discredit and malign me by creating false allegations, and using these false allegations to justify revocation of my Top Secret security clearance. How can it be that we, as a country at war, have such officers in the government who are more concerned about suppressing the truth than winning the war? How many sets of body armor, or enhanced protection for military vehicles in Iraq or Afghanistan would $2 million buy?

(U) Each of us, whether we serve in the executive branch or legislative branch, take an oath of office to defend the Constitution, and our country against enemies both foreign and domestic – I take this oath seriously and am certain that each of you on this committee share my passion on this point. I believe that our oath overrides one’s loyalty to any branch, department or culture of the U.S. Government should such loyalty become inimical with the preservation of this nation’s security. I had to make a choice between loyalty to a DoD culture or the safety of our country – and my choice is clear.

(U) We face two enemies at this point – the first, Al Qaeda – insidious and adaptive – but vulnerable and flawed – tied to a 10th century philosophy of life and of warfare – a philosophy that we can use against it to defeat it. The second, a more vexing and implacable enemy that is our own “bureaucracy” – where career bureaucrats, who are more concerned about self aggrandizement and advancement, who gamble with the security of future generations through neglecting to recognize the need to change and adapt more rapidly than our adversary. Through these bureaucrats collective actions, both in the initial ABLE DANGER failure and their current cover-up and obfuscation of ABLE DANGER, they continue to wager our children’s future and country’s wellbeing.

(U) It is our collective responsibility to see that both of these enemies are resoundingly defeated – and this may require painful change of culture and best practices – but necessary change – to ensure the ABLE DANGER failures do not again occur.

“ABLE DANGER and the 9/11 Attacks”

(U) Mr. Chairman, distinguished members of the Committee, thank you for the opportunity to appear before you and provide you background and related issues surrounding the ABLE DANGER project. I applaud the Committee’s interest in investigating this complex topic.

(U) ABLE DANGER was a good news story: the Department of Defense’s effort to target Al Qaeda’s global structure [ ] – to identify their global centers of gravity, and by the full range of military options [ ] decisively engage and defeat them.

(U) In the world of today, this is not a new concept, as we have been at war with this organization since 11 September 2001 – what is unique to ABLE DANGER is that this effort was commenced in September 1999 – fully two years before that clear and unforgettable September morning that will forever remain transfixed in our collective memory.

(U) ABLE DANGER was the right mission, at the right time, with the right people against the right enemy – an out of the box concept that at its heart was an effort to bring back a modern version of the Office of Strategic Studies (OSS); an organization that served at the forefront of this country’s secret battles of World War II.

(U) Using the then 1999 era cutting edge technology of “data mining” as pioneered by the U.S. Army’s Land Information Warfare Activity (LIWA), the ABLE DANGER team was able to establish a ‘starting point’ for the ABLE DANGER effort.

(U) GEN Shelton publicly confirmed the existence and mission of ABLE DANGER this past November – it was his concept, refined by GEN Pete Schoomaker, the then (1999/2000) commander of SOCOM that we, the ABLE DANGER team brought to life.

(U) The idea was to take the ‘best and brightest’ military operators, intelligence officers, technicians and planners from the Special Operations Command (SOCOM), the U.S. Army and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), in an entrepreneurial endeavor, much like bringing the best minds and capabilities from Ford Motor Company, General Motors and Daimler-Chrysler to focus on a single challenge. In the case of ABLE DANGER, the challenge was to discover the global ‘body’ of Al Qaeda – then, with this knowledge, prepare military and intelligence “options” that would be supported by the “actionable information” that was being produced by the project.

(U) The objective of ABLE DANGER, as is in the 27 Jun 2005 congressional record, was simple: to go after Al Qaeda.

(U) This was no “experiment” or simply “a planning exercise” as has been portrayed by some in the media and at the Pentagon. And my role was not simply a ‘courtier’ of information as has been inaccurately portrayed by a Pentagon spokesman in the summer of last year.

(U) The story I will present to you today is how, despite all the project had going for it, the operation failed. This bold and audacious operation, with this critical focus was recently opined by the 9-11 commission to be “not historically relevant”… We hope to show you the truth of how relevant and important this effort was – and how it will rewrite the history of 9-11.

(U) In the initial data runs conducted by LIWA on behalf of SOCOM in early 2000 the ABLE DANGER team discovered intelligence information of interest to us. I had used LIWA and its data mining capabilities in support of DoD activities engaged in offensive operations planning.

(U) This unclassified data mining was the heart of the intelligence foundation – what we found to be a critical method that detected not only Atta, but also the Al Qaeda threat in the port of Adan, Yemen, just days before the attack on the USS Cole. The idea was to then refine the data and use classified data from DIA and NSA to confirm and enhance the terrorist linkages established via the unclassified data.

(U) In the end, the ABLE DANGER team was not able to provide this key, and what was believed to be “actionable” information to anyone due to the breakdown in the ability to pass information between communities of the U.S. Government.

(U) According to multiple public comments by former FBI director Louis Freeh made this past November, had he and the FBI received the information we had within the ABLE DANGER project – information that SOCOM asked me to broker a meeting with the FBI to discuss transfer of same – they, the FBI, may well have been able to complete their picture of the gathering Al Qaeda threat and potentially disrupted or disabled the 9/11 attack. And, more importantly, the ABLE DANGER team had put together, using the amalgam of both open source and classified databases specific operational “options” to offensively target and disrupt the larger, global Al Qaeda structure; offensive options that were prepared and briefed to GEN Shelton in January of 2001.

(U) You might ask how I can be so confident in my statement regarding ABLE DANGER’s likelihood of preventing the 9/11 attacks – here is why:

the issue of conspiracy ...

A few days ago I went to wikipedia to check something about Ramzi Yousef. On his page it said he had gotten back bomb manuals taken from Ahmed Ajaj by FBI when he entered U.S. According to Peter Lance, those manuals were never claimed, but remained at FBI's New York office (Cover Up p 51)
[was that office destroyed 9/11 ?]

Got me thinking - what other errors might be found in wikipedia ... along with hearing mixed "facts" in just about any comment to do with September 11, 2001. Similar errors on page of Ajaj, who entered U.S. with Yousef ...

Why should I care whether people have those facts straight ? I will live maybe another 20 years and pass on. The world will continue without me. Few will notice my absence. What will be will be.

True as that is, it is also true that right now the United States is conducting a war in Iraq called "Operation Iraqi Freedom" - a profitable venture:

Questions whether U.S. has right to invade a sovereign nation divide the American people, who generally seem to accept the "reasons" given them for that war: links between Saddam Hussein and 9/11 for instance. There was no link between Saddam and 9/11 except as manufactured by U.S. government officials. Who are those officials, and why did they adopt such a policy, which has as of this writing claimed lives of a reported 37936 Iraqi civilians (or more) and 2332 US Military Deaths. Another 204 Coalition troops have been killed, plus 284 US military lost in Afghanistan. How many Afghani civilians have died since 2001 ?

Whether or not voting has been manipulated in U.S. in the last two national elections, Americans voted. It is my view that their choices, and the decisions resulting from those elections, are based on shabby knowledge.

It is my view that trillions of dollars paid by American taxpayers give us the right to expect a level of performance from our government. Billions spent to fund U.S. Intelligence agencies were clearly not wasted, since they (and thus we) knew of the presence of Al Qaeda operating in the U.S. as early as 1989.

So my question is, how and why can it be that what happened on September 11 was ALLOWED to happen. We knew it was coming, and we knew we could stop it, but "we" chose not to. Who made that decision, and why was that decision made ?

Clearly to me, under the terms referenced above, Ramzi Yousef is guilty of conspiracy. Yousef and Ajaj planned their entry, with Ajaj in possession of materials the two men were sure would cause a stir. They were right. After flying as first-class seatmates, arriving at Kennedy Airport September 1, 1992, Ajaj was given the last bed that night in INS holding facility, while Yousef, using an alias, already a wanted known terrorist, claimed he had lost his passport and requested political asylum.

"Ramzi Yousef" entered the U.S. in September 1992 on an Iraqi passport, with stamps showing a journey beginning in Baghdad - attested by the inspector who admitted Yousef into the U.S. In 1995, Laurie Mylroie argued Yousef was an Iraqi intelligence agent, while Richard Clarke said Yousef had no passport. Credibility of the very people responsible for initiating war is called to question.

Who is telling truth ? Why would one official lie ? ... or at least not have such a crucial fact straight ?

Abdul Yasin, indicted for 1993 WTC attack, was set free and encouraged to leave the U.S. with full knowledge and approval of US Attorneys involved in the case. Later, "evidence" that Saddam Hussein's regime gave money and housing to Yasin was used to point out Iraqi involvement in 9/11

Today was hard to decide whether to laugh or cry ...
... or be very angry.

Right off, I had two items to post to a group I check in with every day. When the group page loaded, my screen was filled with the DHS logo. In standard size print was a notice the site had been seized in a joint FBI-CIA operation. I attempted to post anyway, but was disallowed by a warning that I had to be the group owner to post. That it was April 1 did occur to me - yet I could not be sure and thought to call Danielle, the owner, to see who might answer her phone ... ("How sweet" she said later - "Hope you are not mad at me ...")

I was on the verge of being fighting mad, truthfully, so I suppose I must make a stronger effort to stay calm. One of the items I intended to post concerned a UK move to shut down GSM Networks. Since that article was done in form of an interview, I accepted content which would have raised a flag had it been a straight report, such as:

" ... once the system is complete it will be able to identify the
offender from a facial recognition program, and then it will
automatically convict and sentence that person without having
to go through the effort of using the courts. Offenders will
simply have the fines deducted from their bank accounts, or
if it's a second offence then the police will be sent round to
their homes to pick them up. They're hoping for about 90%
accuracy in the facial recognition program."

I had fallen for it - that "article" itself was a prank played by mobilegazette.com

Late in the day, I received a serious e-mail from Capitalex, subject:
PayPal acquires e-gold

OMG was my reaction, and I started reading, taking it all seriously until "PayPal plans to sell off e-gold's gold reserves as early as next Wednesday" ...

No one at PayPal could be stupid enough to know that e-Gold would be worthless without its reserves ... could they ? e-Gold reserve is more than that of some small countries. Selling it off would affect the price of gold and upset some major balances ...

... but the clincher:

Thank goodness there are still fools among us sufficient to add humor to our lives when we most need it.
