The growing wave of Bush bashing in America exemplifies to me an understandable lack of comprehension regarding what has become of our world.

In too many minds, all the evil rests in one man, because that is how we have traditionally viewed the power of the Oval Office; yet two things easily defy that notion.

in any country, but instead are focused only on the money, goes back
decades.
. 2. Roles of Cheney and Rumsfeld run through too many administrations
to ignore. GWB did not choose them; was not his choice.

What will happen when The People remember ?

When the President goes out among the people, he is wise to remember who voted for him (notice I said voted, not elected or appointed - a difference right now too clear) - wise to remember the roots of his power. Reminds me of something I saw at Altamont - an awareness that dawned on me that day.

No matter what your opinion of Altamont ... whether your heart was wrapped around Peace and Love, or you were there to make a profit from your stash, or had other intentions, the fact remains that a dozen Hells Angels AND their Harleys could simply disappear into the maw of 100-200 thousand people - melt, vanish, dematerialize, never to be seen again.
