What *should be done* is to get "our military" OUT OF HARM'S WAY - simple as that.
Why are Iranians of any stripe assembling, and training others to use, EFPs or IEDs or any sort of weaponry in Iraq ?
Of course American minds are being manipulated to think that Iranians are "rabid dogs" - but who is putting forth that line ?

Why are the vast majority of Iraqis OPPOSED to continued U.S. occupation of Iraq ?
What IS there for which Iranians, as a people, who generally "look up to" the American People, could *trust* the U.S. government, which IS the "presence" on its borders right now, and is also arguably operating INSIDE Iran as we speak.
The Iranians did not DO anything to provoke U.S. aggression against Iran, although there is sufficient evidence that the Iranian *leadership* lent "aid and comfort" to those who "accomplished" September 11 - but there are far too many unanswered questions as to the true relationship of the Mullahs to the Taliban to the ISI *through* the CIA
-- That part of the CIA which could reasonably be argued to BE al-Qaeda --
How can I fault a common Iranian citizen or soldier for doing what comes naturally - defending one's own territory ?
Especially in the face of "impossible" odds ?
